Ten participants tallied 18 species around West Rutland Marsh this morning (compared with 20 species one year ago). This was monitoring walk No. 102 with 1,188 partipants and 137 species to date.

Birds of interest included 37 American Robins and 11 Cedar Waxwings. Two waxwings were observed feeding each other. Both robins and waxwings were bathing and drinking in a small area of open water. Two Golden-crowned Kinglets were observed along Whipple Hollow Road.
