It becomes an issue when using tags, there are times when "and" is used as a
stop word and not a Boolean operator. I struggled with this issue and what I

should do about how I teach it. I do teach my students to use tags so it is
easier
for me to teach them to use caps all the time then to explain why it is not
always
necessary.

Thank you for the terrific links. Now I have something to use to back myself
up
when I have an especially bright student who notices and asks.
