The economic realities facing colleges and universities today has forced
many institutions to focus on cost cutting measures. The challenge is to cut
costs without cutting resources. By utilizing Macs with multiple operating
systems, faculty and students can have the best of both worlds in one
platform. The need for electronic classrooms containing computers with
multiple operating systems will require IT professionals to be well versed
in setting up dual boot operating systems quickly and efficiently.

This presentation will highlight set up, troubleshooting, dealing with time
constraints when rebooting between operating systems, the support and
training of faculty and students and the pros and cons of Dual Boot Macs.

After the lunch break, attendees will participate in a Lightning Round SIG.
Participants are asked to share a five minute presentation. Recommended
topics include problems and possible solutions you have encountered when
setting up dual boot operating systems. Please send an outline of your topic

by March 1, 2010.
