hi fred

in fnwsu we are sharing videos from google sites
create a separate site for each student
upload the video
embed the video in the site page
share the site with the parent's email address (any email address)
the video is viewed directly in the site page
there are settings for video that will NOT reveal embedding information or allow downloads

the site can be shared with the parent as view only or as a collaborator which allows for leaving a comment

If this question has come up on the ListSrv before, then my apologies.

We have a number of teachers, primarily EEE and SpED, who have taken
videos of students and are desirous of sharing these videos with the
parents.  I am looking for a way to do this that will be safe and
confidential.  I am not desirous of having them send the videos as email
attachments due to their size.

If anyone else has teachers doing this, what methodology are you using?
If it is online file sharing, who are you doing it with and are you
capable of restricting access at the file level and not just the page
