What: Building for Social Responsibility (BSR) is proud to present the 2010 workshop series on domestic solar hot water and space heating. From March 20th, 2010 through October 16th, 2010 workshops are available across the state. These courses are recognized by Renewable Energy of Vermont (REV) as credits towards applying for Solar Thermal Partnership. Who: These workshops are intended for: - Builders who want to encourage their clients to include solar hot water in their building and remodeling projects;
- Plumbing and heating contractors who want to learn the specifics of solar installations for domestic hot water and heating systems; - Anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of a sophisticated renewable technology.
Cost: $285 One Day, $450 Two Days, $45 Discount to BSR Members. $40 Early Registration Discount (2 weeks prior to workshop date) Contact BSR for information on plumber discounts.
Details: This course is recognized by REV. Licensed plumbers who attend a 8hr workshop will be eligible to apply for "REV Solar Thermal Provisional partnership". Full Solar Partnership is awarded to Provisional Partners who complete a dw systems with REV oversight. Non-licensed plumbing professionals attending both workshops will receive 16 hours of credit towards eligibility. Solar Thermal Partnership is required to access Vermont renewable energy incentives.
