A group of people here at the Vermont Department of Education saw this today as well.  Very interesting.  Some more discussion is planned.  Plus a phone call to Oregon!    With our funding situation the way it is and looking to the future funding cycles, I believe this could help in a number of ways.

Subject: Oregon Makes Google Apps for Education available statewide

Why can't Vermont do this?  Not to mention, bulk purchases of EVERYTHING--computers, cameras, interactive whiteboards, projectors, switches, servers, etc.?  A challenge?  Yes.  A good VITA-Learn project?  I think so!
