During my daily walk yesterday I had a terrific look at my FOY Winter wren. It was down in the undergrowth in a cedar wetland along Steinberg Rd. It did not sing but was only thirty feet away and in good light. Beautiful little bird. Down the road I also encountered a flock of 12+ Cedar Waxwings and two N. Flickers who seem to be on territory.
