Then it depends on what procedure is performed … Generally, procedure codes are not determined by indication – with the exception of screening AAA (G0389) and CIMT (0126T) … otherwise standard CPT codes would apply …

No there is a company billing insurance,  I need the procedure code. I do not believe there is one that exists but I told them I would reasearch it.

Presuming you are referring to ICD-9 (i.e., not procedure codes) & with several ‘depends’ caveats - but a short version search of ICD-9 ‘screening’ codes would suggest the following:

 

V81 Special screening for cardiovascular, respiratory, and genitourinary diseases

            V81.2 Other and unspecified cardiovascular conditions

Are there any codes out there that is used for screenings when filing on insurance.  ie:  wellness exams etc.
