We have been purchasing Elmo's TT02 and Now RX02
Gov Connections price was significantly lower
Make sure to get an SD card.
Teachers are starting to use the SD card reader instead of a scanner for projects.
(i.e. kids were bringing in pictures from home for an Animoto project and they were able to quickly get all the pictures on an SD card) not the quality you would get from a scanner, but good enough quality for their animoto music videos.
I have not been able to figure out how to get the 'video' capture to work. It seems from the documentation that you need an extra optional part. Obviously figuring this out has not made it to the front burner yet.

We also buy the AverMedia - we buy the AverVision
300AF+ - Cost is about $580 through GovConnection.
