Interesting that this shows up. I've been doing mappings for a certain surgeon for a while and his fistula's have been turning out fine and I image without a tourniquet. Now he tells me he wants a tourniquet every time I do a mapping. I guess protocols change...But if the vein is a good size to begin with, is a tourniquet really needed?
