I was on the rockpile Saturday (via the cog railway) in shorts and a t-shirt.  A 
far cry from the previous day.  What a zoo.  I laughed, taking my place as one 
of the hundreds of gapers there.  I even ate a chili dog.  I never realized there 
was a freakin' mall on top of Mt. Washington!  I'd only ever been there when 
the buildings we're either buried or closed.  Heard a report from one of the 
hikers coming up the Tuckerman's trail that a couple of 'cores were making 
turns down below.  Still some visible snow over by Mt. Jefferson.
