of one another there is a good possibility of  double counting of many 
species.

Observation  date:     8/17/10
Notes:     At one point there  were 8 bird watchers observing the shorebird 
festival interrupted from time to  time by a Peregrine Falcon or two or a 
Bald Eagle on the prowl. Some viewing to  the north was excellent while to 
the south it was more distant and often  obscured.
The 2 American Kestrel and 2 Merlin were observed from the access  road, 
seen originally by two other birders.  The list is this observer's  and not a 
compilation that would be more extensive.
