 If you go to the Farrell access at Dead Creek to look for shorebirds, be sure to check the little pond at Goodrich corners. Yesterday afternoon I counted 24 Killdeer, 3 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs, and 12 Least Sandpipers there. You will recall that a Red-necked Phalarope dropped into this pond a few years ago (not yesterday), so it's always worth a look see during the shorebird migration.
