Today, Martha Pfeiffer, Jim Shea and I decided to see what was going on in our neighborhood here in the southland. We started at ponds in E. Dorset, and worked our way south to Hildene and into Arlington for Howell's Campgd/pond and Miller's Pond. We saw 3 Gt Egrets ourselves - and did not think we were double counting. We had people stop at Miller's Pond and tell us that they had seen 4 Gt Egrets all at once on the pond a day or two prior. Ruth Stewart E Dorset Location: Frosts - Rte 7 in N.
