RE:      Provost and Senior Vice President Finalists

On behalf of the Provost and Senior Vice President Search Committee, we are pleased to inform the UVM Community that we have advanced two finalists for campus interviews. The finalists are:

Dr. Jane Knodell
Professor of Economics
Interim Provost and Senior Vice President

Dr. Eleanor Miller
Professor of Sociology
Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

Each candidate will participate in a day long interview process involving various representatives of the University community.  Their specific schedules and candidate information is available at the Provost Search web site.  The Search Committee is also hosting an Open Forum for both candidates as follows:

The Forums will take place at the Admissions Visitor Center located at 184 South Prospect Street.  Each candidate will briefly address the following topic - Opportunities and Challenges Facing UVM - followed by a question and answer period.  We encourage all members of the community to attend the Open Forums if possible and participate in this important process.
