Subject: eBird Report - Waitsfield Covered Bridge , 1/13/11
To: [log in to unmask]

Location: Waitsfield Covered Bridge
Observation date: 1/13/11
Notes: Finally found the young eagle perched on the east side of the Mad
River, just south of the covered bridge @2:30pm. He does not seem to wander
far from the deer carcass according to the Woodruffs. I would not be
surprised if it stayed until there was nothing left. When the wind blows
it's brown neck feathers you can see pure, bright white underneath.
Number of species: 2

Bald Eagle 1
American Crow 3
