Hi Folks,

Skip back three years, deep snow, and a headless rabbit from under our deck
out in the lawn at dawn. No tracks or wing marks. That afternoon when I
returned, no rabbit but lots of crow tracks. I mean absolutely no rabbit.
Not even a chunk of fur. I wonder if the owl returned, or if its day-shift
partner a red-tail hawk made off with the carcass or even if the crows
managed to completely devour it. My sympathies to the rabbit's human
family.
