This morning there were ~300 Snow Buntings, ~25 Horned Larks, and 1 Lapland Longspur
in Vernon at the same location posted yesterday. The drake Barrow's Goldeneye was below
Vernon Dam with~ 75 C. Goldeneye. I returned to Vernon above the dam at 4:30 to see
who would show up for roosting time and there were at least 180 C. Goldeneye, ~70 C.
Mergs., and ~ 60 Hoodies. At home, in W. Bratt., a flock of 15 Cedar Waxwings and 4
Bohemians showed up this afternoon to feed on Bittersweet. For the second day in a row a
Merlin has been on the same perch at the corner of Bonnyvale RD and E. Bonnyvale Lane in
W. Bratt.
