Hi folks,

Just wanted to pass along an interesting read related to the recent posts
about the Watson system. Neurologica is a blog that I read by Dr. Steven
Novella, a neurologist at Yale, and today he posted about Watson. Dr.
Novella basically echoes the sentiments of this group and expands into a
discussion about computer-based expert systems/CDDS. Enjoy!

Watson: from Jeopardy! to the hospital...

Disclaimer: I started watching Jeopardy in elementary school when Art
Fleming was host and my mom and I watched it when I came home for lunch. My
life's greatest ambition was once to be a contestant. I'm sorry, but I was
rooting for the humans. Farewell, cruel world.
