A number of the kids that MRG is turning into dominating freeriders are not
in the MRG race program, but on the freeski team. It helps that so many of
the kids grow up skiing in organized groups led by amazing skiers. There
are plenty of options for kids outside of childcare ski school and race
programs. On any given saturday you can see the racers standing around at
the top of the practice slope shivering while the freeski team is hucking
ledges in the woods.

Check out how the latest crew dominated at Sugarbush's Junior Castlerock
Challenge a few weeks back. Most of the 15 qualifiers are MRG kids. They
made the Boogershushers look like a bunch of flailing gapers.
