We are staying at Dancing Bear because we are 6 people and we can have our own room, and use of the kitchen (one person with special dietary needs).

No hot tubs in Nelson :-(...but we'll go to Ainsworth for a soak that should last the remainder of the trip.

Paula is right. I remember it happening to our group at least once. I believe the skis arrived the following day. Enjoy the trip!  Be sure to check out Whitewater if you can make it to Nelson.

well, I got my skis packed up and ready to go to Fedex, then I learn that the place to have the skis delivered in WA isn't open on Sunday. So, that makes the decision easy. Will have to check the skis as luggage and keep my fingers crossed.

I checked with Paula at Big Red Cats and she said that airlines landing in Spokane will deliver to Canada...but sometimes it takes a few days. Renting skis isn't so terrible, but an added expense. I wonder if the airline will pay for ski rentals. I know they do in SLC. Hopefully I won't have to find out.
