The cover photo of Drew Haas' much-maligned book is, I believe, of a dude carrying a rope on the summit of Colden... make of that what you will.
I know Jan has at least done some recon up there.

The main accomplishment (I'll go out on a limb and speak for Ben here) we take away from this was that although we were 100% sure it had been skied, we had not really ever seen anything concrete about it. Before seeing the link to the TR from Nick, I had never seen a report or even so much as a picture of anyone skiing in there.
