Hi Jim

We're getting 2' of fresh snow right now so by the end of May you may nor
need snow shoes:)
One of my favorite places in Vermont (I spend a lot of time out here and
lead field trips here) is the Victory Wildlife Management Area.
It is a 1 hour drive from the Mt Washington area so it's close. It is just
off rte. #2 and the best birding of the yeear for warblers is the end of
May, beginning of June.
Take rte.# 2 west from New Hampshire andin the town of North Concord turn
right onto the Victory Road
