I am experimenting with Don Johnston's Daisy to Epub software to
transfer books to Epub format for use on iOS devices - works great so
far - but not on all books from Bookshare unfortunately.

Don Johnston said it transferred only 75 out of 100 books successfully
in a test batch they ran recently due to formatting errors in the
Daisy books from Bookshare. A work around for iOS devices is to make
a PDF which can be read in the iBooks app.

Bookshare is also creating an app that will read Daisy books on iOS
devices without transferring them to Epub- it was due out this spring
but I have not seen it yet.
