I usehttp://www.studentinsurancepartners.com/at MSJ. They have been easy to work with. I have had to make 4 claims this year (smashed monitors).

The policy we have costs us $50/yr/per device for $500 worth of coverage (accidental, lost, stolen), with a $25deductible. The way we have it set up is to have the parents pay the $50 per year, but the school handles any claims. (this was arecommendedmodel by SIP).

Hi All,

I know there have been a lot of conversations on 1:1 initiatives, so forgive me if this is a repeated request.

In South Burlington, we are working on a 1:1 laptop rollout for 8th and 9th graders next year and we are interested in how other schools with 1:1s are handling:

Policies for theft and damage

Fees (if any) to cover insurance or other related costs

Student guidelines and expectations

Thanks,
