I believe so. We use a 3 part NCR form available from VT Fish & Wildlife. The yellow part is supposed to be mailed to Fish & Wildlife. When an owner leaves out information on the form, Fish & Wildlife returns it to me for correction.

Is that requirement to send to F&W for “posted land” or “no trespassing”?

They have to post their land every year and we send a copy of the form to Fish and Wildlife.

Newbury registered "posted land." The fee is $5.00 and we send a copy to Fish & Wildlife. 10 VSA S 5201.

I've been told "no trespassing" is covered by a different statute, 13 VSA S 3705(a)(2) and that it has nothing to do with the town.

What is the process for “registering” no trespassing signs? As a clerk’s office, are we supposed to offer some sort of registering or recording service? What’s involved? Fees?

    Thanks,
