About the Exhibit: The exhibit is the start of a body
of art that resulted from a recent trip by the artist to
Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia and is a product of the
conversations with the people and the shared stories. "Birmingham
and Beyond"by UVM Alumna, Cheryl Daye Dick (Class of 1991)
touches on the resilient courage and silent suffering of
Americans who moved civil rights forward for us all.
This presentation is brought to you by the Center for
Cultural Pluralism in collaboration with the Artist as part of
the Allen House Multicultural Art Gallery 2011-2012 Season.
