The Allen House Multicultural Art Gallery presents:

"BIRMINGHAM AND BEYOND"
[one artist's showcase on resilience in the fight for civil rights]

Exhibit closes on September 14th, 2011

About the Exhibit: The exhibit is the start of a body of art that resulted from a recent trip by the artist to Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia and is a product of the conversations with the people and the shared stories. "Birmingham and Beyond"by UVM Alumna, Cheryl Daye Dick (Class of 1991) touches on the resilient courage and silent suffering of Americans who moved civil rights forward for us all.

This presentation is brought to you by the Center for Cultural Pluralism in collaboration with the Artist as part of the Allen House Multicultural Art Gallery 2011-2012 Season.
