Mickey,

The only option that SyncML has provided is to disable the SSL Error checking.

SyncML claims that the problem is the fact that Android did not support 2048 bit SSL Certificates until version 2.3.  Since it appears that you are running Android 2.3, your issue appears to be that the SSL Root Certificate required is not known to your device.  Sadly, we have not found a way to add the required SSL Certificate to the trusted root store on Android devices.

I have to report that I'm personally experiencing the issue, myself.  I'm running a DROID 1 on Verizon, with SyncML STD v 2.1.1 and Android 2.3.5.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help troubleshoot this.

Thanks!
Mickey

I have a user who's running a Droid 2 with the newest version of SyncML Std.  He's now getting the Invalid Certificate Error and is unable to sync his calendar to his phone.  Is there someone I can put him in contact with for troubleshooting purposes, as he's a heavy calendar user?

Thanks,
Mickey

The current working theory (because there are other Android users that report no problem) is the lack of current SSL Root CA certificates on some Android devices.
