We are delighted to welcome Pedro Miramontes to Science for the People. This Mexican scientist did his BSc in Physics and Msc and PhD in Mathematics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
He says, “I have been an no-party militant in Mexican politics. I write essays on the relationships between Science and Society. I was a subscriber to the printed Science for the People magazine in the seventies and I found you in the wikipedia a couple of months ago while lookin for information to write a biography of Steven Smale.”
