Michael said he wouldn’t agree to any restrictions on what he said and how he said it, so he asked that his suspension be made permanent.

I shouldn’t think you’d find it hard to agree not to attack people, Mitchel – I don’t think it’s your style!

I thought the only rules for the list were: 

a) keep most of the posts relevant to "science"; and 
b) don't make personal attacks. 

You mean Michael Balter said he would not accept those?

Even I could accept them (noting the word "most" in point "a")
