Even with a school that has no money there is always money for the student senate to designate funding for clubs. Start a club. Petition that the senate fund your club. Have your student members run for senate, then persuade other senators to vote some of the funding to your club. That's where we get 90% of our club funding.

Oneonta State University has just formed a team in New York State.  We are small but we want to grow and be able to go to tournaments--BUT we have no money.  I need to know how you fund your teams.  So many of you, I know, have college money support.  That is not an option for us because New York has no money for anything.  How do you fund raise?  What do you do?  Please send ideas.  Thank you!
