Oh,

That would make a huge difference!  The OLD webmail ran on the same servers as imap.uvm.edu, so you could use webmail.uvm.edu and talk imap to it and it would work.  The NEW webmail.uvm.edu is on different systems and any mail clients that were erroneously set up to use webmail.uvm.edu as their imap server are going to be dead.

I do not know if it is connected.

Greetings BlackBerry Users,

Wondering if any of you have had email issues since the cut over of UVM’s webmail system?  (Realizing that most of you probably use the native blackberry email as opposed to the browser.)

The helpline has heard from a number of BB users with issues affecting the native clients as well.  Interested in hearing whether you use the native client or browser and how email is since the cut over?   The suggestion that has been given so far has been deleting the account and re-adding it.  We have not heard back from clients since this, which could be a very good thing...or not.

Any Problems?

Thanks,

R
