Hi Bill,

Happy New Year!

Did you try simply disabling the network adapter and the wireless device through device manager?  Then just set up a user on the laptop itself, rather than using a profile that you normally would use on the network.

Best,

I have been asked to setup a brand new windows 7 laptop for typing only –NO INTERNET (wireless or Ethernet)

I was thinking of setting up the student’s account with some sort of hardware profile which disabled networking … could I simply statically address wireless and Ethernet and make the gateway 127.0.0.1 ?

Trying to get the easiest way to do this…
