Charlie;

I don't understand what you are suggesting.  Should I just copy that text -
site:socrates.berkeley.edu/~schwrtz/SftP/MagazineArchive -
onto the main page of the archive (an html page) or do I need to put some html tags with it?

If you seach for the exact phrase "science for the people buttons" the first thing that comes up is
socrates.berkeley.edu/~schwrtz/SftP/MagazineArchive/SftPv2n3s.pdf
You get the whole magazine and you have to search within it for what you want.

It would be good if we can add a feature to the web page that facilitates a search of the archives.

It's not hard to do it yourself  by adding the expression below to your search but adding a search button will make it trivial.

site:socrates.berkeley.edu/~schwrtz/SftP/MagazineArchive
