Charlie;
I don't understand what you are suggesting. Should I just copy that
text -
site:socrates.berkeley.edu/~schwrtz/SftP/MagazineArchive -
onto the main page of the archive (an html page) or do I need
to put some html tags with it?

Now that the text was included in the PDF archive files the
various search engines have crawled through and indexed them.
If you seach for the exact phrase "science for the people buttons"
the first thing that comes up is
socrates.berkeley.edu/~schwrtz/SftP/MagazineArchive/SftPv2n3s.pdf
You get the whole magazine and you have to search within it for
what you want.
It would be good if we can add a feature to the web page that
facilitates a search of the archives.
It's not hard to do it yourself by adding the expression below
to your search but adding a search button will make it trivial.
site:socrates.berkeley.edu/~schwrtz/SftP/MagazineArchive
