“If These Halls Could Talk”
- dinner/theatre presentation
In collaboration with the ALANA Student Center
If our halls could talk, what would they say about the
alarming rates of students of color leaving our colleges? This
new documentary by Lee Mun Wah reveals the truth underlying
the festering silence on all of our campuses and provides the
means to talk about our differences in an environment that is
honest, receptive, and eventually, transformative.

“Toe to Toe” -
In collaboration with The Women’s Center
Emily Abt's emotional film tells the story of a love/hate
relationship between two senior girls from completely opposite
backgrounds at the competitive Washington, D.C., prep school.
Inspired by the disturbing fact that interracial friendships
end at age 14 for 87 percent of American teenagers, this film
highlights societal influence and reminds us of the
transforming power of honesty and the way that those who test
us often make us better.
Please contact us if any
accommodations are needed.
