Look at the USB Blue mikes, I bought one of the snowflake ones for room
pickup.     USB mikes don't pick up the computer noise that 1/4" mikes do.

USB speakers are also nice for smaller rooms because they don't need extra
power.

And I suggest including Google Video and soon Hangouts in any video
conferencing conversations.
