The town of Calais has not set a policy yet on giving residents access to wifi in the town office. No one has access to our computers other than me and the listers. However, like Susan, I would be interested in whether other towns have established a policy for wifi access or use of town computers

Hi,

-How many have wireless internet in their Town Office, and is it password protected?
-Do you let other people use the connection in your office, and if so, can a person get access to your computor or important information on the town's computor?
- Do any of you have policies on this?
-Do any of you have spyware protection on the network?

Reason I am asking is that the person who does our website wants to teach others in town how to change information on the site. He wants to do the training at the town office and therefore everybody would need the password to gain access to the town website.
