Yes.  As I understand it, "Flashfake" was the earlier version that 
masqueraded itself as an Adobe Flash installer, and required human 
interaction to install.  "Flashback" exploited the unpatched Java 
vulnerability to install itself silently.  Same malware/payload, different 
install vectors.
