Hi Judy, I just came across the e-mail. Symptomatically I would say to ignore the puckering on the leaf if the color is good and terminal growth of the plant looks normal and healthy(no viral symptoms). I used to get puckering on some healthy leaves and I attributed it to a varietal response to a certain nutrition level. Bottom line, I learned to ignore it. Now, leaf hoppers and SCB...thats a whole other deal...
Hmmm...Sorry to say Judy I'm not sure. But our greenhouse tomatoes have bottom leaves that are turning yellow (not like blight) but the veins are staying green and then small black spots are forming. We wondered about fungus but it doesn't exactly look like that either. Anyone know about this?Cara and JerLVFOn Sat, Jun 23, 2012 at 2:02 PM, Judith Murphy <[log in to unmask]> wrote:
On one of my non-grafted cherry type tomatoes in a hoop house the leaves are forming a ridge along the center vein, kind of puckered. What is this and how shall I treat it?
Thanks,
