We have been using drinking water safe "garden hose type" hoses for several years, they are like garden hose, but a different elastomer so that they do not leach plasticizers, and do not crack so that they can be sterilized with bleach. But they kink pretty easily. So, I am looking for other hoses that are affordable and food safe.
