Hi all, went to dead creek at the back part of the marsh (following the
trail to the right from the parking spot). There was a fellow hunting
squirrel on the trail to the side who identified himself so I knew he was
there. Is this a cause for not birding here in the fall due to risk of
stray shots?
At the end area in the marsh were at least 60 yellowlegs, the majority
Greater, at least 5 were Lesser. In the mix was a juvenile Red-Necked
Phalarope. Lots of photos if needed, along with some teal, many wood and
mallard ducks.
