First Wednesdays Talk in Norwich with author David Blight Rescheduled

Norwich ~ The Vermont Humanities Council‘s First Wednesdays lecture with Race and Reunion author David Blight, originally scheduled for December 5 at Norwich Congregational Church, has been rescheduled to Wednesday, June 5, 2013.

 

The talk, "American Oracle: The Civil War in the Civil Rights Era,” is part of the Vermont Humanities Council’s First Wednesdays series and will be held at the same location at 7:00 pm.

 

First Wednesdays is held on the first Wednesday of every month from October through May in nine regional hub communities statewide, featuring speakers of national and regional renown. The program is free, accessible to people with disabilities and open to the public.

 

The Vermont Department of Libraries is the statewide underwriter of First Wednesdays. “American Oracle” is sponsored by Stave Puzzles.
