DOes anyone have any connections to get someone to talk as part of conference on the issues of all the license extensions on the nuclear power plants.
From my reading, even the original design engineers are saying we never anticipated these plants operating longer than 40 years.  The whole safety issue of radiation damage to steel (& how much of the cooling tubes & other steelworks are leaking and embrittled already from 40 years of radiation hardening) is a well known issue in nuclear engineering circles that is completely kept out of the public limelight & such discussions as Indian Point.
