10am yesterday (Jan 29th) I observed what could have been a Northern Hawk Owl flying over the southbound lane of I-89 just north of the Winooski exit. My impression was a fair-sized raptor with a large round head and tapered wingtips. I can't be sure of what I saw, but it would be worth watching for by anyone passing through that area. - Russ
