The Common Pochard was easily visible from under the Champlain Bridge this morning (Vermont side) and again at mid-afternoon.

We met Bob Heitzman there and the three of us also saw two female Barrow's Goldeneye at fairly close range. They were swiming with two female Common Goldeneye so the differences were very apparent. A female Red-breasted Merganser was also present.
