Isn't the weekend of March 17th the tele fest at MRG? I'm all for a March Partee, but that's been a conflict in the past.

The thing with "traditions" is that everyone's memory of them is faulty. Going back to the mid-90's, the Partee was usually sometime in late March to early April, as early as March 22 (2003) and as late as April 8 (2006). (Yes, I looked it up.) Then in recent years, as enthusiasm for actually organizing the thing has waned, the date has gotten pushed back, buried under of weeks of "when should we have the Partee?" posts. From 2008-2011 it got delayed to mid-April, as late as April 18 (2009).

I couldn't even tell when it was last year, but I think it was the weekend of March 17. That's OK in my book. Nothing wrong with skiing decent snow for the Partee, "tradition" be damned!

Surely this is not the substitute date for the traditional April Partee?
Half of us will be out of jurisdiction snorkeling BC powder on 3/17/2013
What he said.  Ski club days are fine, but we need an April Partee.
