In Groton, we do not refund any overpayments under $5.00 and if it is short around the same amount I reach into my pocketbook and pay it because I do not want to send such a small amount into deliquency.

  Good Afternoon -

I'm curious as to what other towns do with property tax overpayments and shortages. I'm guessing you refund overages but to what limit? Also, if someone shorts their payment - do you just right it off and up to what amount?

  Thank you.
