We require an AUP signed by parent and students every year. The lawyer shot
down an opt out policy and only having students sign a form. At our High
School and Middle School students and staff have to log into a captive
portal (which does have a link to the AUP). Their login gives them access
to different levels of filter between schools and one for staff. I set up
this way to allow BYOD and eventually 1:1.
